The Light of the Mind



Created by Formafantasma, The Light of the Mind transformed the Flos stand into a subjective meditative space. The stand revolved around a series of seven videos that explored the creative processes behind the new Flos collections. The installation presented these narratives non-linearly, encouraging visitors to reflect on the associative nature of thought and design development.
Luce Sferica and Luce Cilindrica

Luce Sferica and Luce Cilindrica merge industrial innovation with everyday poetry. Blown-glass spheres or cylinders float atop a sleek aluminium base, casting a soft, ambient glow. Modular and sculptural, they recall raindrops or suspended lanterns, ideal for creating elegant, atmospheric compositions in residential, hospitality, or cultural spaces.



Nocturne

Nocturne elevates modular lighting with a balance of precision and grace. Conical and semi-spherical glass diffusers provide focused or ambient illumination, radiating a gentle, internal glow. Suspended from aluminium tracks, the system delivers sculptural refinement to both residential and commercial environments, uniting high-performance optics with the enduring beauty of classic materials.

Designed by Michael Anastassiades

Linked transforms light into a vertical sequence of luminous glass links. Its effortlessly modular design invites endless configurations, cascading like delicate, glowing jewellery. A radiant sphere can be suspended at its end, adding sculptural elegance and an immersive ambience to residential and architectural spaces alike.


Maap

Designed by Erwan Bouroullec

Maap unites multiple fundamental concepts in a lamp that is both radically simple and inherently complex. With a distinctive graphic pattern and magnetic mounting system, Maap gives free rein to human creativity, transforming the wall into a luminous canvas. Shaped by hand, its unpredictable surface diffuses a soft, immersive glow, like sunlight filtered through a cloud.




Jam Session
Designed by Piero Lissoni

A contemporary take on the classic torch, Jam Session combines refined aesthetics with a playful edge. Referencing multiple design archetypes, its concrete base anchors one to three illuminated stems, each topped with either a glass sphere or a flute-shaped diffuser. Elegant and versatile, it was imagined as a ‘super-candle,’ casting a soft, atmospheric glow perfect for sophisticated interiors.




Seki- Han

Designed by Tobia Scarpa

This 1963 classic makes a graceful return. Seki-Han features dual rotating wooden blades that veil a central LED source, delivering adjustable light and a quietly poetic presence. Named after a symbol from Japanese tradition, this reissue fuses artisanal craftsmanship with contemporary engineering, transforming wood and light into a sculptural, living form.
