This extension by Open Studio architects addresses existing problems of orientation and circulation by adding a bright new living area that opens out to two courtyards. The roof form brings much needed northern light into the space.
The design uses the Yori Semi-Recessed by Reggiani, a minimalist high performance luminaire combining two simple bodies combined by a simple joint, allowing the optical section to be adjusted.
