Reason: The recall is due to a battery overheating if charged for a prolonged period of time.
Affected States: Regional
Hazard: Risk of fire, which may cause serious injury, death, or property damage.
What to do: If you have purchased a Bon Jour Unplugged lamp in the period stated, please contact us for your new set. As a precaution, we strongly advise that you do not use the lamp until it has been fitted with the new power supply kit. Contact Euroluce Head Office directly by phone or email and provide any specific or general details they may have for their BON JOUR UNPLUGGED in order to evaluate if a replacement battery is required. The BON JOUR UNPLUGGED should be disconnected from the charger and not used until a replacement power supply kit including battery has been installed. Replacement power supply kits including battery are readily available for immediate supply and replacement.
