The Euroluce Group of Companies recognises the criticality of operating mindfully and sustainably.
As trusted suppliers of sustainable lighting solutions, we recognise our role in advancing the sustainable goals, intentions, and aspirations of our clients and stake holders. Our approach sets us on course to adapt to the evolving needs and opportunities facing our clients, and the environments and geographies we work within.
Our Sustainability Policy describes our guiding principles and areas of focus to further adopt sustainable practices and integrate sustainable thinking into our operations, supply chains, products, and communities.
Our Policy is underpinned by a series of targeted actions demonstrating implementation of our commitments. Progress against these actions is reviewed and updated quarterly and overseen by our Board annually.

Proactively integrate innovative and sustainable thinking into business practice whilst meeting the fundamentals of regulatory compliance.
Enhance our employees’ understanding of sustainability and the role they play to advance our goals.
Establish enduring relationships with designers, suppliers, stake holders and supply chain partners to drive sustainable practice through considered efficiencies, quality product, support, and thoughtful delivery.
Support our clients in their sustainable goals and collaborate for positive impact.
Establish governance over our approach to, and transparently, authentically, and regularly communicate our progress against plan.

Our Areas of Focus have been formally identified as being areas where we can currently affect the most meaningful change. They are supported by a series of commitments that we have made to ensure we put both our principles and focus into practice. As our approach to sustainability advances over time, so too may these areas of focus and commitments.

Our people are our greatest asset, providing physically and psychologically safe and inclusive workspaces is paramount. To this end and to the very best of our abilities we will ensure:
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards and practices, including monthly reporting on performance to our Board.
Promote fair and lawful policies that support work-life balance including flexible working hours.
Support ongoing training and real time development to enhance employees’ skills and career growth.
Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.
Encourage active employee participation in workplace initiatives and seek their input on improving workplace practices.
Climate change is a significant issue and will require all businesses, regardless of size or scale to mitigate their impact on the climate. To this end.
Maintain our efforts to understand our footprint across emissions scopes 1, 2 and 3 annually. Target reductions and track changes over time.
Encourage energy-efficient practices in our operations to reduce our carbon footprint.
Encourage the increased use of renewable energy sources in our facilities where feasible.
Achieve net-zero by 2030 through a mix of emissions reduction and renewable energy initiatives, and carbon offsets where required.

We pride ourselves on products sourced and designed to last and we share a commitment to sustainable design with our suppliers. To this end.
Prioritise the use of recycled and responsibly sourced materials in the products we supply.
Eliminate the use of certain hazardous substances in our products to ensure safety and environmental compliance
Supply products with a longer lifespan, greater operational efficiency, and serviceability, supporting “the right to repair” to reduce waste.
Develop customer, consumer, and community communications to support broader understanding of sustainability including energy-efficient lighting, waste reduction and recycling and circularity practices.
As a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant, we are guided by sustainable packaging approaches that reduce the environmental impact of the packaging we put into the marketplace. With the elimination of all single use plastic packaging and expanded polystyrene from our operations we are further driving:
A transition to 100% recyclable or reusable packaging materials by end of 2025.
Reductions in the amount of packaging used without compromising product protection.
Reusing received packaging within our shipping practices to reduce new packaging required.

Our approach to circularity recognises the role we play in reducing waste to landfill and extending the lifecycle of our products. To support our intention, we have:
Partnered with suppliers that have optimised product design and manufacturing processes to use fewer resources and generate less waste.
Established a customer facing repair and refurbishment scheme for our products to extend their use and reduce waste.
Set course for the establishment of a take-back program to facilitate the recycling and repurposing of selected decorative products at the end of their life cycle.
