Reggiani biSio wins Light of the Future Award


At the recent Light + Building event in Frankfurt, the leading global lighting exhibition and trade fair Reggiani’s Bisio designed by Fabio Reggiani was presented with the coveted ‘Light of the Future Award’. This award is a European Design Competition for energy-saving luminaries and energy-efficient lighting systems for the residential and commercial sectors.

Set up by the European Community Joint Research Centre in 1999, since 2004 it has been organized by the Frankfurt Messe in collaboration with the German Design Council. In this year’s edition, out of 200 products, only 17 were awarded for their innovation, overall design concept, illumination, material usage and technical quality.

This is the second award for biSio, after the Fixture Design Competition 2004.
